Winter Workshops & Exciting 2027 News
Hello everyone! I've got exciting news to share with you.
If you've attended one of our workshops before, you'll know how much we love bringing people together to learn new skills, grow beautiful flowers and get creative. We wanted to give you a little update on what's coming up, as well as share some exciting news about next year's courses.
Christmas Wreath Workshops
Our Christmas wreath workshops are now live and open for booking.
We've already added three dates to the website, with one or two more still to come. One of the workshops is already over half full, so if you've got your eye on a particular venue we'd recommend booking sooner rather than later.
Join us for a relaxed 2 hours of festive creativity, working with beautiful seasonal foliage, dried flowers and natural treasures to create your own wreath to take home.
Dried Flower Wreath Workshop at The Dreamatorium
On 4th November we'll be returning to one of our favourite creative spaces, The Dreamatorium.
If you've never visited before, it's difficult to describe just how magical it is. It's an Aladdin's cave of beautiful objects, curiosities, vintage finds and creative inspiration. For anyone who loves making things and surrounding themselves with beautiful craftsmanship, it is an absolute treat.
We'll be creating everlasting dried flower wreaths using a carefully curated selection of flowers and grasses grown and dried here on the flower farm.
This workshop is one of the highlights of our autumn calendar and we'd love to see some familiar faces there.

Grow Your Own Cut Flower Garden is Back for 2027
We're delighted to announce that our Grow Your Own Cut Flower Garden course is returning next year.
The course remains the same much-loved two-part format, with one session in May and another in September, allowing you to experience the garden across two very different seasons and continue learning as your own cut flower patch develops throughout the year.
This year also marks an exciting new chapter as the course moves to Lima Gardens in Betws-y-Coed.
While we're incredibly excited about the opportunities this brings, we'd also like to take a moment to thank George at The Source. The course began there, and George has been such an important part of the community that formed around it, particularly through the WhatsApp support group. We're very grateful for the support, encouragement and enthusiasm that helped make the course what it is today.
At Lima Gardens, we'll be teaching within a beautiful working cutting garden where flowers are grown for weddings and events alongside organic fruit and vegetables for the family who live there. We'll be using the historic glasshouses, stunning converted tack room workshop and surrounding gardens on the Foelas Hall Estate throughout the course.
We're also thrilled that Jenny Hunt will be joining us as co-tutor. Jenny has over 30 years of gardening experience and has been Head Gardener at Lima Gardens for two decades. Many of you may have seen her on our socials @limagardenswales through her floristry work with us on larger weddings. Between us, you'll have two flower growers sharing their knowledge, successes, mistakes and practical growing tips.
The course will be catered by private chef Bethan from Plat y Dyffryn. Throughout the course you'll enjoy elevenses and afternoon tea on the stunning terrace overlooking the River Conwy, creating space to relax, connect with fellow growers and fully immerse yourself in the experience.
If you're dreaming of growing your own cut flowers, we'd love you to join us.

Make Your Own Wedding Flowers Course
We're also launching our Make Your Own Wedding Flowers one-day course at Lima Gardens.
Perfect for couples planning a wedding, or friends and family helping with event flowers, you'll learn how to create a buttonhole, bridal bouquet and bud vase arrangements, alongside demonstrations on flower care, conditioning and practical tips for getting the most from your flowers.
Our aim is to give people the skills and confidence to create beautiful flowers for their special day, whilst keeping costs manageable and helping them avoid some of the common pitfalls and mistakes we frequently see when people attempt wedding flowers themselves.
A Small Favour...
If you've attended one of our workshops and enjoyed the experience, we'd be hugely grateful if you could leave us a review.
Running a small business is becoming increasingly challenging, and genuine reviews make an enormous difference. Not only do they help new customers find us, they also help us continue running the workshops and courses that we love sharing with you.
Not on Google? We'd love to hear from you on Facebook instead. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience!
Thank you for supporting my little flower farm. I genuinely couldn't do this without you, and I hope to see you again at a workshop soon.

I'm so glad the Grow Your Own course is coming back in 2027. Moving it to Lima Gardens sounds like a lovely change, and I found Meowdoku helpful for seeing the workshop details and dates.
